Animefest 2022 was 17th year after two year break and was held in bigger venue (halls Rotunda, A1, A2 and E) at the Brno Exhibition Ground. We have expanded Cosplay village, workshop zone, martial arts arena and Artist Alley zone for (mainly) Czech and Slovak indie artists. Board games also got a new big hall, presenting both modern and traditional games. As usual, Lancraft gaming zone provided computer games and VR experience.
As each year, several contests were held - international AMV contest, two cosplay contests, and FestDance contest. For the third time, cosplay contest was qualifier for the European Cosplay Gathering (solo representant is Amathys, and in group category Kate & Tery) and again for the international C4: Clara Cow's Cosplay Cup - Czechia will be represented by team Kaya & Mezurashi.
Animefest 2022 was organized under the auspices of the Embassy of Japan in Czech Republic. Our main technology partner is Comfor, important partner was also Nutrend. We also want to thank many more partners who supported us.
