The "Young Animator Training Project" was launched in 2010 by the Japanese Animation Creators Association (JAniCA) to give young Japanese animators hands-on training, which in most cases involves giving In-Between Animators the chance to become full-fledged Key Animators to prep them for future responsibilities. Originally dubbed "PROJECT A" in 2010, it was called "Anime Mirai" from 2011 to 2014, and is currently known as "Anime Tamago" since 2015. In addition, the initiative is now sponsored by the Association of Japanese Animations (AJA).
